Daily Markets Briefing: STI down 0.21%

DBS saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 1.1% slip.

The Straits Times Index ended 6.69 or 0.21% lower at 3,193.92.

The top active stocks were DBS, which inched down 1.1%, SingTel, which rose 1.2%, UOB, which dipped 0.73%, UOB, which fell 0.73%, OCBC Bank, which contracted 0.74%, and Keppel Corp with a 0.3% decrease.

The FTSE Mid Cap slipped 0.24% whilst the FTSE Small Cap inched up 0.68%.
