M1 users hit by mobile data disruption
M1 noted the service disruption at 7:18 am.
Some M1 subscribers experienced a glitch in their 3G and 4G mobile data services. By 7:18 am, the telco provider issued a Facebook statement saying that their engineers are working to resolve the issue.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and will provide updates as soon as possible,” they announced through their Facebook page.
Users shared their sentiments in the comment thread of the post.
“The least M1 could have done is to inform all customers by blasting SMS to all of us since they own the network and have all of our numbers on record,” one user commented in M1’s Facebook statement. “I panicked just now and thought my phone was broken.”
Their next announcement came by 8:19, saying that data services have been restored.
